ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF MAR 4-10 2024

MON MAR 4

The morning get’s off to a slow start with the Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune, seeing a sleepy and dreamy vibe that is like walking through molasses. The Moon enters Capricorn around 1:15 PM PST, in minor tension to Uranus and Venus, but going on to trine Jupiter, Uranus, and sextile Saturn, which can see a little more focus to get going for the day. There can be a desire here to get on to a good track. There might be a shift in values to adjust to, or tensions socially or interpersonally, but there is a determined energy to make the best of situations and maybe try out new approaches. The Moon square Chiron can be sensitive. Go easy on yourself, be kind, and take extra care to nurture yourself. In some cases, certain dynamics can be somewhat triggering or there can be some raw feelings, but it’s likely not intentional on anyone’s part to cause any ill will.

TUES MAR 5

The Moon in Capricorn trine Jupiter can see a rewarding feeling for hard work. There can be motivation to take on more. With the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in aspect to Uranus, radical change is on the menu. Mars will perfect a square to Uranus this week, which can see some out of character moves, innovative, perhaps even rebellious impulses, or weird situations. Some of these situations can manifest as blockages or challenges, or be unsettling or disturbing. This can have people on the edge of their seats or needing to be adaptable to change or the unexpected. The way things have always been done can be questioned or challenged. For some this rebellion can occur within relationships, for others, within the social sphere. Whatever is the case, people can be walking to the beat of their own drummer this week. This can be exciting and refreshing, but in some cases it can also be a bit jarring or unsettling, all depending on your relationship to the changes occurring.

WED MAR 6

The Moon is sextile Mercury, trine Uranus, and semisquare Saturn. Communications can shock and surprise, but they can also communicate harsh truths or reality checks that not everyone is ready to hear or deal with. That isn't to say there isn't also silver linings, as there can be good news. The key is to focus on the present and the blessings that are available. There are many. The Sun in Pisces is between Saturn and Neptune. There is an awareness of reality here, but also the temptation to evade it or avoid it. The idea that it can be bypassed and ignored is an illusion, and attempting to gloss it over will only dig a deeper hole. Better to face the music gracefully, as releasing what's no longer workable creates better and more appropriate opportunities. As the day wears on, the Moon enters Aquarius at 4:38 PM PST, where it is sextile Neptune and conjunct Pluto. There can be people, news, or events that make a powerful impression, or moments of clarity can open up new worlds of perception while being simultaneously challenging. There can be a need to let go of something or someone, or in the very least, release a need to control things or people, and surrender to a process.

THURS MAR 7

The Moon is caught between Pluto and Mars, while square Jupiter and semisquare Mercury and Neptune, which can see some intense feelings, impulses or desires come to the surface or larger than life news. It’s a good idea to think before you speak, act, or spend for that matter, as this math can potentiate misunderstandings or grandiose miscalculations. However, don't shy away from well timed, calculated risks, just don't bet the whole farm. Afternoon and evening becomes more decisive and perhaps impulsive as the Moon closes in on Mars. Changes can be occurring within relationships, socially, interpersonally, or commercially/financially, or values, preferences, pleasure, money or aesthetics can be subject to some radical revisions. Hygeia, Mercury, and Neptune are very closely conjunct, seeing healing themes and topics still front and center. This can be mental, physical, or metaphysical in nature, but compassion is a big theme. Artistic, beautiful and magical aesthetics can factor in somehow, both in audio or visual formats. This week definitely has a penchant for the weird, wild and unusual.

FRI MAR 8

Interesting things can be percolating socially or interpersonally, with the Moon between Mars and Venus. There can be some pleasant and refreshing experiences, but they can also be a bit strange or unexpected. Mars perfects a square to Uranus at 19 degrees today and tomorrow. This can be an impulsive atmosphere, with out of character moves or behavior from people. There can be some well timed opportunities, some of which can be quite lucrative. It can be fun and exciting, but for some, unsettling or disturbing. Take care to avoid taking big losses. Shifts and unexpected changes can take place in groups, social settings, or be internet, social media, or market related. Certain reality checks may have caused a change in tack, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing, and can usher in some refreshing changes or realign you with your goals, ideals or values. The Moon enters sensitive Pisces at 5:03 PM PST, where it will conjoin Saturn. In some cases this can see some interesting alliances forming, or an individuation or initiation process can be highlighted.

SAT MAR 9

Mercury spends today in the final degree of Pisces, seeing some peak moments that precipitate turning over a new leaf or turning a fresh page. This can also symbolize walking your own path, going it alone, or risking alienation from a group, relationship, or lifestyle that no longer feels appropriate, or entering into new territory that is unfamiliar and strange but contains exciting opportunities. The Moon is sextile Jupiter and conjunct Saturn. Certain realities may need to be faced, but this can be an expansive learning process that opens up new potentials and teachable moments. Mercury conjunct Neptune and sextile Pluto can see powerful downloads, intuition, or spiritual or psychological experiences that can feel deeply significant. Mercury enters Aries at 8:03 PM PST, which can see a more dynamic spirit. The warm flame of Aries can help dry out some overly emotional, soggy, or hypersensitive dynamics and toughen the intellectual resolve to handle things with a fresh and youthful mindset that is willing to learn new tricks. This can also harken a cycle where new communication or intellectual initiatives are taken. Things that may have been bubbling beneath the surface as just an idea can now begin to reach a more active or dynamic phase.

SUN MAR 10

The New Moon in Pisces is exact at 1:00 AM PST, at 20 degrees Pisces. Extremely high ideals are stimulated by this decan, as it’s ruled by the 10 of cups in the tarot. This New Moon is sextile Uranus, which see’s a desire to shake things up and explore new possibilities. A lot of emotional or psychological insights can coincide with these configurations, and it can have healing and recovery themes, with the Sun and Moon’s proximity to Hygeia. A new seed is planted, and Mercury in Aries leads the way to explore ahead of the pack and gather information, while the Pisces stellium absorbs the impact and holds space for the highest potentials possible. New ideas and ideals are gestating, and as the day wears on into evening, there can be conversations that pioneer into new territory, or feedback is sought. The Moon enters Aries at 5:19 PM PST, which can see communications or ideas that make an impact. The Mind and feelings can be on the same page, and emotions can be talked about candidly or things can be shared without much complex.
