Astrology For The Week Of Aug 26th-Sep 1st 2019.

This week see’s lunations from emo Cancer all the way to diplomatic Libra, with a rather potent New Moon in Virgo that will sync up nicely with Uranus, Mars, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto. This is a major reconstruction operation, that necessitates long term strategy and serious game, that for many, will yield very tangible, practical, physical results. With all this planetary emphasis on Earth signs at the moment, it’s very important to deal with things and people as they are, -as opposed to what we might ideally like them to be. Realism is key, and necessity is the mother of invention. Patience will also be important, as there is a lot of perfectionism involved in proceedings, with this anxious, if slightly neurotic Virgo emphasis. Let’s break down the week and cut to the chase.

MONDAY.
We kick off the week on a slightly sensitive note, with the Moon in vulnerable, self protective, comfort seeking Cancer in opposition to stern, restrictive, disciplinarian Saturn. The Moon goes on to trine wistful Neptune and oppose power broker Pluto around mid morning. This could create some powerful undercurrents, that could inwardly flail from one extreme to another. This, combined with the emphasis on Virgo, could potentially create quite an anxious vibe, due to the amount of uncertainties, and unknowns in play. With Uranus forming trines to the Sun, Venus, and Mars, there is definitely a lot being pleasantly shaken up and revolutionized. This adds a rather unpredictable, highly original, innovative, rebellious, and independent element, in regards to personal, creative, and even business ventures and relationships. Many are nurturing visions of freak genius that they are determined to actualize, or are in the process of making some serious upgrades and engaged in self improvement strategies. In spite of the somewhat sensitive atmosphere of the beginning of the week, there could be pleasant surprises or unexpected good news today. Stay lit.

TUESDAY.
The 27th see’s the Moon linger in Cancer for the majority of the day, still opposing Pluto in Capricorn, and echoing intense emotional transformations and undercurrents we’ve been undergoing. Around 5 PM PST the Moon enters enthusiastic and charismatic Leo, squaring up to Uranus and forming a pleasing trine to Chiron. This could generate some excitement and increase our creativity and confidence in self expression and healthy risk taking.

WEDNSDAY.
The 28th see’s the Moon in Leo add in a morale boosting, optimism enhancing trine to generous Jupiter, while still squaring Uranus. This is an extremely restless energy, and a craving for stimulation can be present. The emphasis in Virgo creates a strong, earthy sensuous bent, that is somewhat understated, subdued, or repressed, stuffed down or hidden. This could see a whole lot of inspiration, or a wild, indulgent streak of sorts, that begs to find an outlet. Excellent configurations for artists and musicians. With Mars conjunct the Sun, and Venus in meticulous Virgo, things are gathering at a slow and steady speed towards a productive, fruitful end, personally, socially, and/or commercially. Virgo wants everything to be perfect, so if you’re the impatient type, -understand that you cannot rush perfection, and just try to enjoy the process and calm yo booty. There’s definitely a lot of creative genius accessible under these maths, and the more you can reduce anxiety, and increase confidence, the more you can tap into this furnace of raw potential, that might initially appear as a feeling of subtle frustration. Generating back and forth with others, sharing creative meanderings and ideas, can also stoke the embers of inspiration, passion, and enthusiasm. Spread the good vibes.

THURSDAY.
The 29th begins with the Moon in late -ish Leo, conjoined to Mercury, who is now smack dab at zero degrees Virgo. Something about this tells me that some sort of significant and inspiring communication, transaction, or bit of news has been received, and is being slowly assimilated. With Mercury now in it’s domain of Virgo, the rather anxious, nervous emphasis on perfectionism increases, but it also represents a doubling down on realism. Virgo rules purification, elimination, sorting, sifting, improving,- among other things, -so hashing out the details of the many creative, passion fueled meanderings that Mercury in Leo provided, and sorting out the feasible from the bombastically unrealistic, will help to facilitate actual results. Around noon PST, the pace picks up, as the Moon at 27 degrees Leo conjuncts Mars in Virgo, who is already pushing for action on the communication and interpersonal fronts. This could see some exciting talks that inspire action, and energize the mind and body. Our nervous systems could be firing on all cylinders so it will be important to check in with the body and ground, perhaps via physical activity. Around 5 PM PST, the Moon enters Virgo, tightening and perfecting it’s conjunction to Mercury, Venus, and Mars, and conjoined the Vertex in late Leo. This is kind of an epic lead up to the new Moon, as it’s possible certain talks/communications/projects/or arrangements made or discussed have a bit of a “destined” or “fated” quality about them. Serendipity.

THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY.
The Aug 30th New Moon in Virgo is exact at 3:37 AM PST, so occurs in the wee hours that only insomniacs, artists, musicians, strippers, truck drivers, and people that work night shifts are awake for. Look to the area of your whole house chart that Virgo rules to see what life area these new seeds are being planted within. This new Moon looks extremely energized. It’s simultaneously grounding and extremely innovative. A seemingly perfect combination between reason, realism, and practicality, and the wild card of creative zang. Lunar trines to both Saturn and Uranus are the secret recipe behind these vibes. Cutting out the inessentials and getting down to business (Saturn), while staying flexible and prepared to innovate and heed the call of inspiration, (Uranus), can produce some amazing results in the following weeks and months. This is definitely a highly charged full moon that could call us to the care of the physical body somehow, and to manage our time and energy more wisely and efficiently. A Lunar trine to Pluto could see some powerful transformations taking place that could have some long lasting, positive effects. Cutting out any unnecessary BS that you know is working against you is an excellent use of this energy. Some people might be cleaning up their diets, saying goodbye to bad habits or lifestyles, or committing to regular exercise under these configurations. Go you.

SATURDAY.
The 31st see’s the Moon in Virgo carry on it’s trine to Pluto, echoing the finality of whatever transformations are being embarked upon. Pluto is do or die. Balls deep, all in, or nothing at all. This aspect alone makes it clear that the emotional, psychological landscape is shifting in subtle, but powerfully significant ways, both internally and externally. Something will certainly be “different” by the time this week is over.  These aspects, and the ones at the New Moon itself, are also extremely strategic and tactical in nature. As Alan Watts put it, “Existence is a game. In all senses of the word. The best senses, and the worst senses.” Better to accept the game, and master it, as opposed to resent it, condemn it, -and be played by it. This could definitely see people behaving strategically or even tactically in an interpersonal sense. With the meticulous, anxious, perfectionistic Virgo energy, syncing up with power tripping Pluto, it could be like Alpha Male Strategies entire youtube channel being extremely and meticulously over applied. “Game recognize game”. If you see this or sense it in others, nod, smile, and “stay on yo’ purpose.” Maybe even take it as a weird, backhanded compliment. Idk. With the Moon tightening an opposition to Chiron, certain lessons are being assimilated interpersonally. The Moon enters Libra at 4:07 PM PST, bringing our interaction with others into focus, and the need to harmonize disparaging viewpoints and perspectives. There could be some personal lessons around our interactions with others to digest that could perhaps leave us feeling a little vulnerable, possibly even slightly butthurt. It’s a subtle butthurt. It will pass. Wherever there is suffering, discontent, or “butthurtedness”, there is always an opportunity for wisdom, growth, and learning.

SUNDAY.
September 1st see’s the Libra Moon in square to military strategist Saturn, while in opposition to Chiron. Here, we can make lemonade from life’s lemons and summon emotional resilience. There could even be determined peace efforts amidst differing temperaments. Or, conversely, just a determination to simply agree to disagree, and turn the other cheek for sake of peace and harmony. Sunday afternoon see’s a pleasant lunar trine to generous Jupiter, so perhaps reconciling differing perspectives is possible after all, and maybe it is revealed that “opposing factions” have much more in common than previously assumed, and there’s just been a “language barrier” of sorts. In either case, we could lean towards being more generous, open minded, and accommodating towards others. A lunar square to Pluto adds an odd intensity to the mix. It’s as if you’re playing a chess game and it’s been really serious, suspenseful, and quiet, and finally somebody cracks a joke or *gasp!* ..actually pays a compliment to their opponents level of skill, or the silly hat they are wearing or something, (Moon in Libra sextile Jupiter.) This pleasing aspect wears down by evening, and we are left with a vibe that can only be likened to “Military diplomat/strategist” for the rest of Sunday evening. We could feel pretty intense about something internally, but making a conscious effort to just detach from it and remain unphased, -because GAME FACE.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a number one super instant success forever type week. Happy New Moon, I’ll see you next Monday.

Astrology For The Week Of Aug 19-25 2019

MONDAY.
We begin the week with the Moon in Aries, conjunct Chiron, square Saturn, and trine Jupiter in Sagittarius and Mercury in Leo. We could feel a big energy, passion, excitement, and enthusiasm, -but may be holding ourselves back a bit, perhaps due to cautious optimism, perhaps also partly due to self protectiveness or vulnerability. With Mars now freshly in Virgo, and Venus soon to follow suit, emphasis grows on getting more organized, meticulous, detailed, and focused on narrowing in on our objectives. Mars trine to innovative Uranus speaks of brand new trajectories and initiatives, and there could be something “next level” about whatever it is we are preparing for. A propulsion to "go beyond normal." This is certainly a “rut busting” type of energy geared towards improvements through repetition and innovation, and Venus will join Mars in trine to Uranus shortly, so this could involve an interpersonal element, perhaps some unlikely alliances, and people or goings on that make everyday life just a little more lively. It’s definitely a transit that will see people wanting to shake up or revolutionize their routines, or spice up their everyday grind in some way. Later, the Moon squares Pluto, adding more intensity to the mix. There could be a low key, obsessive determination, and perhaps plans being hatched or discussed behind the scenes that have yet to be executed to see the light of day. Good energy for brainstorming sessions, and for directing intense, passionate type energy into creative pursuits. There could be some unspoken intensity under the surface of things, and the square to Saturn continues to reign people in slightly.

TUESDAY.
Aug 20th, Saturn let’s up, and the Moon in pioneering Aries is trine the Sun and Venus in expressive Leo, and Mars in the first degree of earthy Virgo. This energy could see us fueled by passionate, creative energy, and wanting to make something concrete happen of our fervent creative visions. Something that maybe breaks the norm of what we have done before. This could see artists taking on new mediums, athletes trying new sports or learning new tricks, or people applying new approaches or people in their dating/sex/romantic lives.  With Mars trine Uranus, people will definitely want more room and freedom to experiment with new and original approaches. With Venus entering Virgo the very next day, this will definitely impact peoples personal lives. If coupled up, it’s a good energy for teaming up on shared self improvement goals. If single, somebody could motivate you to be your best self and live your best life, and make the process of the daily grind or getting back on your A game in some way more pleasant and motivating. This math definitely has some ZANG to it.  Late evening Tuesday, the Moon slips into sensual Taurus, slowing things down but certainly not dulling them out, but making for some very physical vibes.

WEDNSDAY.
Venus enters zero degrees Virgo early this AM, leaving only Mercury and the Sun carrying the torch of Leo’s creative, fun, passionate proclivities, while Mars and Venus focus on bringing this excellence down to earth where it can be more viscerally experienced. Later, a stabilizing lunar trine to Mars suggests there is something of a “long game” about this, but with patience, and single minded determination, there will be fruitful results. With Mars and Venus hand in hand, to eventually form powerful trines with Saturn and Pluto, we could be slowly but surely chiseling our way to success or some sort of “leveling up”, personally, professionally, -or both. Patience, discipline, consistency, repetition, and hard work will certainly be rewarded.  “The devil is in the details,” so it will pay to be mindful of the little, subtle, and humble things in whatever you’re going after, working on actualizing, improving upon, or are in pursuit of. Details, details, details. When it comes to interpersonal situations as well, under these maths, small things can mean a lot. Venus and Mars are more subdued and demure in Virgo, but this doesn't lessen passion or intensity felt. It just makes us look more to the small things, as Venus in Virgo isn't as prone to grand gestures as Venus in Leo is. So be grateful for the little things, as people can demonstrate their appreciation or affections in small or humble ways that could escape a less perceptive awareness. Venus can also be more critical, perfectionistic and anxious in Virgo, so watch that you aren't holding yourself or others to impossible standards and be realistic in your expectations.

THURSDAY.
Aug 22 see’s the Moon in “show me the money” Taurus squaring Mercury,  while still trine Saturn and Pluto, and forming a sextile to dreamy, wistful Neptune. We may have some passionate feelings and be pretty fixated on something or someone and it could be generating some confusion, indecisiveness, and some intense fantasies in our heads. There could be something of a challenge about whatever we are on about, but it’s one that we may secretly relish. Later, the Moon squares the Sun as well, where we are challenged to be more assertive in the face of inner (or outer) conflicts. For some, this process may take place entirely within, where we become resolute, and perhaps a bit obsessive about transforming something, even if we have to steam roll over doubts, naysayers, or simply just our own fears or inhibitions.  The Moon moves into talkative, busy Gemini in the evening hours, increasing the tempo considerably.

THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY.
Friday, Aug 23, the Sun enters perfectionistic Virgo, to sync up with Venus and Mars to double down on any and all improvement strategies. This day looks a bit “edgy”, but also has the potential to yield some breakthrough results with a rather healing, morale boosting component, with the Moon in quick witted Gemini squaring up to the Sun in Leo, and Venus and Mars in Virgo, while forming a sextile to Chiron in Aries.  An opposition to Jupiter later on could amplify the nervous energy and give us A LOT to take in, bordering on overstimulating, even if it’s all positive stimulation. If you experience any frustration under Friday’s configurations, it helps to remember the fact that frustration is the predecessor to creativity. Creativity does require a certain level of “aggression” and assertiveness, so if you don’t give into frustration, creativity is the natural result, as the brain is then forced to form new connections. If you put this into praxis, you may notice that you forget all about whatever you were frustrated about, or even thank the source of the frustration, for the new levels of potentials it helped you to realize. The mind will certainly be active while the Moon transits Gemini, and this could also see a lot of banter back and forth as well.

SATURDAY.
Saturday see’s the Gemini Moon, square nebulous Neptune, while still opposite indulgent Jupiter. This could be a rather spaced out, scattered, indulgent type energy. There could be lack of clarity or a lot of unknowns around something or someone, and this could have our imaginations reeling with a lot of longings, hopes, fears, and fantasies, in a kind of dreamy, nervous, escapist haze that could have us buzzing. A lunar sextile to the Vertex could bring some sort of “fated” encounters or communications, that could have a creative or possibly romantic component. Perhaps someone stokes our inspiration or helps turn on a lightbulb in a timely fashion, or we receive some kind of game changing communication or make a fortunate, impactful connection or investment that we feel highly charged about.

SUNDAY.
Sunday morning see’s the Moon in late Gemini sextile Mercury in Leo in the early morning hours, but after that, this day (day of the Sun), the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars really steal the show with their stellium and trines to Uranus in Taurus. They say a change is as good as a rest, and in this case, it appears to be true, (unless a rest IS the actual change you’re making, in which case, disregard that last part.) Something is definitely shifting into new gear, and this appears to have an interpersonal component that is maybe completely new, or just random, odd, off the beaten track,- but definitely fresh. Later, the Moon enters sensitive Cancer, to sextile the Sun and Mars in Virgo, and square Chiron in Aries. This perhaps assists us in a final push on an emotional sifting process that transpired while Mercury was retrograde. While the Moon may temporarily move over sensitive areas, we feel much more self assured and assertive this time around in facing whatever faint discomforts it potentially brings up. Later, Sunday evening, Lunar sextiles to the Sun, Venus, Mars, and Uranus hint at some potentially pleasant, comforting, and clarifying emotional exchanges or experiences, where we soak everything in like a sponge.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a most triumphant week! See you next Monday.

Monday, August 12, 2019

Astrology For The Week Of August 12th-18th 2019.

We have an extremely active week celestially this week. Right off the bat, Jupiter, planet of luck, abundance and expansion, is finally stationed direct, Uranus stations retrograde, Mercury shifts into Leo, Mars will soon shift into Virgo, and to top it off, we have a full Moon in Aquarius this week. Whew. It’s a whole lot to take in. It’s a lot at once. Let’s break it down.

MONDAY.
We kick off the week with the Moon in Capricorn, conjunct disciplined, serious, and realistic Saturn, and secretive, intense, and obsessive compulsive Pluto. Growing opposition between the Moon and Mercury in Leo suggests that on some level, we could be tempted to play with fire this week-*figuratively*-Let’s not even fuck around with literal fire. That is just OFF the table. But Mercury joining the fiery, enthusiastic Leo squad definitely brings with it some increased optimism, and could inspire us to take risks and free ourselves from things that have been holding us back. That’s cool. Optimism is always nice. But realism is equally important if you want to avoid getting burned. There is significant reason for some excitement, but there are equal configurations that caution us to slow down, strategize, and get the lay of the land so to speak, so we don’t wind up balls deep in some complicated conundrum. Positive exchanges, communications and connections can happen rather spontaneously on Monday that could have a healing or cathartic component, but in a rather mischievous way. Temptations abound. The general vibe encourages us to be cautiously optimistic.

TUESDAY.
August 13th see’s the Moon move into rebellious, detached Aquarius, forming an erratic square to Uranus in Taurus, while directly opposing Mercury. Like a bolt of lightning. With all this emphasis on celestial fire, there is definitely a lot of spontaneity, passion, and change in the air. Later, a lunar sextile to Chiron suggests that something feels pretty good. Chiron’s trine to Mercury may be bringing in news or communications that get us feeling a bit more confident. Morale is boosted for sure, but there could be some complications. Whatever the case may be, change and excitement is afoot, and for some, caution may be thrown to the winds, come what may. People are driven by their passions and fervent idealism at the moment and it could create a lot of heat. There is a definite, thick creative/libidinous/social tension in the air that could generate a lot of giddy, nervous energy.

WEDNSDAY.
The morning of the 14th see’s the Moon in Aquarius sextile Jupiter (now direct) in Sagittarius, and oppose the Sun and Venus in Leo. This further heightens the potential for social and/or sexual tension. The act of freely being ourselves and increasing our capacity for expression can feel exhillarating. Freak flags flying. The vibe is rather quirky, unconventional, indulgent, and inspired. For some, there could be a bit of subtle or overt controversy around hoisting our personal freak flags. There could be some clashes or confrontations interpersonally, socially, (or even just inwardly. ) But with all this emphasis on showy and competitive Leo, there could also be the potential for wounded pride, jealousy, or petty feelings, so tread carefully with people’s ego’s as we lead up to the full moon. There could be a lot of projection going on. But a whole lot of passion available as well that could perhaps catch people off guard. A lot of potential for fun and good vibes in spite of the more complex nuances of the oppositions.

THURSDAY.
This is the day of the full Moon. It reaches culmination at 5:29 AM PST. Again, given all the emphasis in Leo, this particular full moon could be full of drama and “dinner theater.” By itself, this full Moon represents the collective consciousness, being able to detach from the pangs, strivings, control issues, and samsara of the ego, and opening oneself up to limitless possibilities, accepting the freedom and wishes of others, their right to express themselves and be who they are. Embracing the idea of “power in numbers”, while still remaining an individual, and not being ruffled, miffed, upset, or regulating ones own ego around the will, individuality, and actions of others. The song “You don’t own me” comes to mind when I look at these configurations. People can need more freedom than usual. There is something creatively liberating, fun, eccentric, weird, and “off the wall” about this full Moon that seems to scream out for more fulfilling levels of expression that cast away inhibitions. We are definitely letting go of something major here that has been holding us back. This energy can also offer higher perspectives on egoic issues that tend to limit our experiences and capacity for unity and agape love. It could also see some drama and theatrics, so yea.. watch out for that.

THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY.
We kick off the weekend with the Moon in sensitive, empathic Pisces forming a sextile to Uranus. Yes indeed, something is being released and revolutionized. A whole new spin is being put on things, and this could take some getting used to, as there are a lot of unknowns and wild cards. We could feel inspired, hopeful, idealistic, delusional, or all of the above. Somehow, we have crossed into unknown territory, and it could be really exciting. Staying grounded and realistic is really important, and that’s where Mars in Virgo steps in. As impassioned as we are about all of the possibilities ahead of us, making this work in a practical sense takes organization, minding the details, and being grounded in reality.  The majority of this weekend see’s our heads spinning in a free fall of romantic/creative inspiration, hopes, delusions, fears, and infinite possibilities, perhaps generating very obvious notice within us about how much our feet need to find solid ground, and how we need to get a grip on ourselves, and our reality, in order to see anything close to what we’d like to see happen, happen. In other words, it will become clear as crystal that it’s time to get serious and real about something, sift the gold from the dross, and do the work.

SATURDAY.
Saturday see’s the Pisces Moon sextile to powerful Pluto. We could be feeling intense about unknowns. There could even be some powerful emotional releases and transformations going on, and perhaps we are obsessively idealistic about something or someone. In either case, -this is prime math for musicians, poets, artists, and romantics. With Mars in the final degree of Leo, we could also feel impatient and a bit “all over the place”, perhaps not knowing where (or to whom) to express all this pent up passionate energy, from one minute to the next. Things we read, hear, or see can stoke the flames of our enthusiasm and hopes, or just be “over the top” and very attention grabbing in some way. Something can definitely boost confidence levels, (perhaps to delusional degrees?) Late evening, around 11:30 PST, Mars shifts into practical, routine oriented Virgo, shifting the energetic emphasis from play to work. This doesn’t mean this “work” can’t be enjoyable, as we still have a Leo strong hold. Mars in Virgo is wonderful for across the board improvements, whether it’s cleaning up your diet, improving your fitness level to look better naked, or adding vitamins and supplements to your regiment. Virgo sifts, organizes, and purifies. Virgo gets shit mothafuckin done. Settling back into a healthy routine doesn’t have to mean the routine has to be boring, lifeless, or colorless. This could actually be the foundations for a way more fulfilling scenario.

SUNDAY.
We end the weekend with the Moon in Aries. New chapters are being written, and it feels inspiring, and self affirming. Sunday looks like some damn good, feel good vibrations, with some positive news coming in from somewhere. In the very least, some passionate and inspiring communications. We could feel generally good, and confident about the new chapters unfolding.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have an awesome Full Moon week! See you next Monday.

Astrology For The Week Of Aug 5th-11th 2019

MONDAY.
We begin the week with the Moon in conciliatory Libra, coming out of a sensitive opposition to Chiron in Aries, forming a sextile Mars in Leo, and going on to square Mercury in Cancer, and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. This creates a mixed bag of feelings, and places an emphasis on finding consensus and harmony amidst disparaging viewpoints. In spite of some heavier lunar aspects, there is significant optimism and good will in the air, thanks to the planets in Leo jiving nicely with broadminded benefic Jupiter, who is set to station direct on Sunday, the same day Mercury enters Leo. If you’ve been in need of a positive lift, this week, and really, the whole month of August, is sure to provide you with a burst of sunshine. I actually debated on whether I should even bother to write for August, as opposed to just posting “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” by Roy Ayers, and making that song the astrological anthem for all of August.

TUESDAY.
August 6th see’s the Moon enter intense and moody Scorpio around 9 AM PST. This see’s a lunar clash with Uranus in Taurus, creating some restlessness, emotional changeability, and a desire for something a bit “out of the box”. A square to Venus in Leo later suggests that perhaps it’s challenging to express some of our intense cravings, desires, or urges, but the passions are certainly stirred. Jupiter is definitely in the spot light this week with it’s trines to the Sun and Venus, as Mars and Venus get closer together. It seems the stage is being set for some fun times or romantic trysts. A desire for more love, passion, enjoyment, and fun is definitely growing stronger under this weeks configurations, and many people will be seeking an outlet for a desire to “spice things up” in their lives and to “scratch an itch”, satisfy a need for more creative or romantic fulfillment. There's an overall intensity in the air today that could border on the theatrical. With the moon in obsessive Scorpio, combined with the Leo emphasis, there could be an exaggerated amount of passion, drama, and intensity in the air. Perhaps even some sense of controversy. Humor is key.

WEDNSDAY.
The 7th see’s Luna in Scorpio in creative tension with the Sun, Mars, and Venus in Leo, while forming a trine to Neptune in Pisces, and Mercury in Cancer, and a stabilizing sextile to Saturn, and powerful Pluto. This could definitely see the passions fired up and the feelings and longings stirred. When I look at these configurations, I see what appears to be an exercise in confidence building. Perhaps some deep transformations around increasing confidence, self esteem, and our capacity for self expression and enjoyment. We could have some deep conversations on this day, or receive news that touches us on a deep level, or perhaps we are getting to the bottom of certain things, or unearthing, swapping, or disclosing secrets.

THURSDAY.
The 8th see’s the Moon moving through late Scorpio, in trine to Mercury in Cancer, and beginning a trine to Chiron in Aries, suggesting that certain communications, or exchanges of information that we have had has provided some sort of healing transformation, or process of catharsis. Some sort of deep exchange, or emotional digging process into the psyche that has been identity affirming in some way. Later on in the afternoon, the Moon enters Sagittarius, pepping up the atmosphere considerably. Morale is definitely boosted, excitement is growing, and there is a lot of passion, inspiration, and enthusiasm in the air. The optimism and confidence to “go for” something is growing, and there is potential for a lot of positive, inspiring, and even revealing interpersonal exchanges. Perhaps something has come to light that affirms the direction we want to head in, and boosts our optimism around our prospects pertaining to certain risks we may want to take. As the saying goes, “no risk, no reward.”

THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY.
August 9th looks exceptionally positive and inspiring, with the Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Jupiter, and trine the Sun and Venus in Leo, our world, (and our joy), could feel expanded in some way. With a Lunar trine to Chiron, something about this weekend feels healing. There is definitely the potential for some happiness inducing personal connections, and even love and romance are well starred. Overall, creative inspiration, and a feeling of infinite potential and possibility could permeate the atmosphere of Friday. This looks like a good time for a good time. A Lunar square to Neptune suggests we may have high hopes, fantasies, or longings around something or someone, and it could be we are willing to take risks, express ourselves, or put ourselves out there in ways that maybe we have previously been too shy, self protective, or inhibited to do. Now we are feeling more initiative, or we could become aware of certain passions that were previously buried or repressed, or that we just didn’t have the time to pay much attention to. This may not lead to immediate fulfillment, but the ball is rolling.

SATURDAY.
Saturday continues this longing for spicier activities, and lunar trines to the Sun, Venus, and Mars suggest a lot of interpersonal action is going on, or at least the desire for it. Truth be told, it's a good time to take it easy, with Jupiter about to station direct. This is definitely a passionate weekend, and also excellent for creative inspiration. There is certainly a lot of initiative and action in the air, and the drive to really enjoy life is at a peak, even if there are still some doubts, frustrations, or a general "soggy" feeling still lingering from Mercury's retrograde in emo Cancer. The desire for and push towards fun, get togethers, flirtation, and enjoyment is strongly highlighted, in spite of other more challenging influences that have slowed things down. Slowing down isn't a bad idea, and will help these more light-hearted energies gather some steam. The atmosphere could see people creatively and/or romantically emboldened, and preparing for more outgoing initiatives. This, combined with the square to Neptune suggests a bit of confusion, but it almost doesn’t even matter if something or someone is a “sure thing”.  What matters is simply increasing our capacity for enjoyment and creative or romantic expression and confidence, -come what may.  Not being attached to end results can be really liberating and good for overall morale. Later, a lunar square to Chiron begins to form that could see us second guessing ourselves a bit, as we navigate self doubts, but it’s important to keep the focus on the enjoyment of the “process” and the intrinsic value that taking risks has to our sense of confidence and ego resilience, and not so much on the end results. Maintaining an internal locus of control, and self validation can do much to prevent lapses in confidence. Affirm your own awesomeness at all times, regardless. Late evening, the Moon enters stoic Capricorn, suggesting a more realistic approach, as we recognize the current limitations of our circumstances, interpersonally or otherwise. It could be a bit of a reality check, but hey, that’s all part of actually making real things happen, and assessing what is and what is not possible, through a process of elimination.

SUNDAY.
The 11th see’s Jupiter station direct early in the AM. Because this is an outer planet, it's important to give things time to catch up to any of the grander visions we might have. The Moon is in earthy Capricorn conjunct Saturn, while Mercury is in the final degree of Cancer Sat morning, shifting into Leo in the afternoon. A Lunar trine to Uranus in Taurus amidst all this, suggests  significant turning points around the corner, and a "wild card" element at play. Certain facts have been assessed, realities have been ascertained, and we alter our approaches and direction accordingly. Perhaps confidence takes a small hit with the lunar square to Chiron, and we may feel some temporary deflation or disappointment, but really, if anything, we are simply being challenged to maintain and even increase our confidence and emotional resilience for the sake of a more fulfilling expression out into the world.  A late night conjunction to Pluto suggests some deep transformations and inner/outer restructuring, in preparation for the exciting, inspiring, (and certainly not boring) times ahead. The celestial emphasis is on growing in confidence, and increasing  courage, and our capacity for joy.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a great week! See you next Monday.
