ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF MAR 28-APR 3 2022

MON MAR 28

We begin this week with the Moon in erratic, rebellious, and cerebral Aquarius conjunct Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Juno, and this can see an unpredictable atmosphere interpersonally with a lot of changes being integrated and processed. Mercury is fresh into Aries as of yesterday, and this see’s a period where communications can be more blunt and straightforward, and people can come out of the woodworks to say things that they’ve been thinking. In some cases this can see certain revelations or statements that seem to come out of nowhere, but have actually been simmering a long time.  Mercury conjoins Chiron and this can see communications take on a healing undertone, but can also see people feeling rather exposed or vulnerable. The Moon, Venus and Mars are all conjunct Saturn today and this can see enthusiasm mixed with caution and reserve about new developments, and certain things will have to be given time to form an accurate picture or assessment. Taking a cautious or energetically conservative approach to certain things and keeping them simple is a good rule of thumb under these configurations. Many things can feel changeable or up in the air, and certain situations or dynamics that have been deemed unfeasible or unrealistic have been in the process of being abandoned, weeded out, or simply improved upon and adjusted. The Moon enters sensitive Pisces at 9:32 PM PST, giving much to reflect upon and digest, seeing this evening wind down on an introspective and sensitive note.

TUES MAR 29

Today see’s the Moon in Pisces conjunct Jupiter and sextile Uranus, giving the imagination breadth and depth of vision, and yielding some surprising insights. With the Sun in Aries conjunct Mercury in Chiron, it’s possible that dialogue or channels of communication have been opened up that gives people much to think about. There can be a healing, almost cathartic nature to this, but it’s also highly sensitive and vulnerable in nature. This can see people experimenting with letting down their guard in certain ways or within particular dynamics, in an effort to expand their world or their emotional bandwidth. There can be an experimental vibe to all of this, and the lunar sextile to Uranus can be emotionally insightful, surprising, but also keen to preserve a certain amount of independence. There can be a desire to escape a lot of pressure, overstimulation, or dust being kicked up by impulsive communications. A lunar semi square to Pluto can see feelings heightened, but it can be difficult to express certain things, and people can take things to heart more than is apparent or realized. Much can be going on under the surface. The Moon goes on to conjoin Neptune later on this evening, seeing the psychic atmosphere rife with downloads and highly attuned to nuance, subtlety, and what is left unspoken as this aspect strengthens into tomorrow.

WED MAR 30

Today see’s the Moon in Pisces conjunct Jupiter and Neptune, seeing an atmosphere rife with psychic impressions. These are sensitive and imaginative configurations, and the Sun and Mercury in blunt and assertive Aries can see a lot to take in and reflect upon. Some folks may underestimate the sensitivity of those around them. Conversely, this can see a lot of empathy within certain dynamics, and even some serendipity, synchronicity and psychic experiences. This can see people opening up more to those around them in new ways, or open to trying new things and gaining new perspectives. But with the Sun and Mercury both linked up to Chiron, the atmosphere can be sensitive. Take care to heed your intuition if something feels a little off or if things are veering into territory you’re not entirely comfortable with, as boundaries can be a bit more porous than usual, but this can be helpful for sharing things that are otherwise difficult to talk about, or simply processing certain things in private reflection. All in all, a dreamy, imaginative and reflective day with a lot to absorb vibrationally speaking. There can be a lot of compassion and empathy in the air.

THURS MAR 31

The Moon enters pioneering Aries in the wee hours around 2:30 AM PST, to conjunct the Sun, Mercury and Chiron, setting the stage for a communicative and perhaps highly active day centered around new initiatives. A lunar conjunction to Saturn can see some inhibitions, perhaps creating some strained communications or social dynamics. Maybe there are some sensitive topics of discussions afoot where people feel vulnerable or a bit guarded about what they will share and with whom. There can be some misgivings, suspicion, or mistrust under the surface to either overcome (or in some cases, heed). These configurations are highly subjective in nature, and there is a strong focus on autonomy and individuality, and working with these themes in relation to our interdependence on others. Perhaps finding the right folks who we feel comfortable being ourselves around is a theme here somehow. Who accepts us for who we are? Who encourages us? Who makes us feel like we are safe to share ourselves and be vulnerable? Who makes us feel that we belong? The New Moon in Aries is exact at 11:24 PM PST, and there’s a strong emphasis on communications. This can be a busy time with a lot going on in the local environment, or a lot of communications to keep up with and things to adapt to interpersonally, financially, and socially. A new seed is being planted in the area of your whole house natal chart ruled by Aries, so there is a new era being prepared for here. Take care to ground your energy and give yourself adequate rest, as New Moon’s can sometimes be a bit energetically overwhelming on the nervous system. There can be a lot of enthusiasm here though, and even though there is a bit of vulnerability accompanying these configurations, it’s also an opportunity to let in some fresh energy and start new chapters.

FRI APR 1

Today see’s the Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron, the Sun, Mercury and sextile Mars and Saturn in Aquarius. The early part of the day can be busy and communicative, perhaps impulsively but pleasantly so. There can be a lot of enthusiasm in the air, but also equally, a serious and intentional tone with the lunar sextile to Saturn. Maintaining the stability we have while also establishing positive social or interpersonal connections that support our future goals and our sense of self can be a theme. The Moon goes on to sextile Venus as well, adding more emphasis to relationships, social, business and personal. A lunar square to Pluto can see some undercurrents of intensity, perhaps some power dynamics are at play under the surface, or there are intense pulls driving people to make some serious changes in their social lives, love lives, values, or finances. These configurations can see some interesting alliances forming, or new and innovative approaches being taken in regards to goals, passions, desires, friendships, creativity and finances. The social sphere, goals, and the future, are highlighted with the emphasis on Aquarius. Certain agreements can be solidified, or in the very least, there is something that can be trying to find it’s feet.

SAT APR 2

The Moon enters pragmatic and earthy Taurus at 9:50 AM PST this morning, where it will go on to conjoin Uranus. This can see a shift towards the practical changes and adjustments that need to be made in order to accommodate the changes we’d like to see happen. A minor lunar aspect to Jupiter can see a feeling of positive expansion and something to feel optimistic about. The lunar conjunction to Uranus can see a desire to break away from constrictive influences and go our own way in some regard, or to usher in some changes that will keep inspiration and creativity alive and keep things interesting and evolving. With Venus and Mars both conjunct Saturn, it’s possible that there’s been a sort of quest to make the right connections, or establish some kind of bridge between ourselves and others without abandoning our goals or trajectory, and this has possibly been an area of experimentation, fucking around, finding out, and seeing what works and what doesn’t. Saturn can make people choosy, shy, calculated, cautious and a bit reserved, even a bit suspicious, and isn’t keen on wasting time. There may be differences to navigate around group dynamics or priorities, and the lunar link to Uranus can make it hard not to be impulsive. When in doubt, slow things down and simplify to stay focused on your original intentions.

SUN APR 3

Today’s lunar conjunction to Uranus is revved up by the Moon squaring Mars and Saturn in Aquarius. There can be equal and opposite drives to lunge forward and pair things down to a more slow, steady and simple approach. This can see competing interests or priorities or even an internal conflict or two to wrestle with. It bares repeating the words “when in doubt, slow down.” For some, there can be some frustrations or just restlessness or erratic energy that can subtly compromise stability. For some, this can see some interpersonal tensions to navigate, and maybe there’s a need to assert boundaries or exercise some level of restraint in a certain situation. Maybe there’s a challenge or blockage to contend with, or just very different opinions on how something should be done. Equally, there could be a lot of work to do or something to prepare for, so if you have pent up energy, focus it in on getting practical things done. Tomorrow can see some interesting shifts that can see some things to feel excited about. Even if there’s optimism and enthusiasm, perhaps it’s all a bit much going on at once.

ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 21-27 2022

MON MAR 21

We kick off the week with the Moon in intense Scorpio, conjunct the healing asteroid Hygeia, square Venus, Mars, and Juno in Aquarius, opposite Uranus, while trine Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. This can see a very changeable, and unpredictable atmosphere, and normal routines or habituated patterns could be challenged or slightly disrupted, likely in positive ways. The Sun in Aries is sextile uncompromising Pluto, which can see people facing down some powerful needs for transformation. It’s clear in these configurations that things are definitely changing, or may need to, perhaps in the name of healing. There can be things to be hopeful and optimistic about. It’s possible that radical solutions are being considered or implemented in response to a general unrest, imbalance, or malaise that may have been quietly bubbling under the surface for some time. Whether everyone is in agreement with what one another’s ideas of “solutions” are is another story entirely. Nevertheless, these configurations usher in a time of change, adaptation, innovation, expansion, and experimentation. Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces are exactly conjunct, and this can see deep empathy, sensitivity, and a concern for the woes and tribulations of others. This conjunction can see the channels of communication open up more deeply and invite more optimism, hope, faith and humanitarianism into particular dynamics, helping to widen perspectives, lower defense mechanisms, and broaden our circle of compassion. This emphasis on feeling, vulnerability, and impressionability requires an equal dose of discernment however, as both individually and collectively, such configurations are prime celestial weather for predatory and propagandistic practices, -so take care to assess the motives of others correctly. Aside from this one warning, this mathscape is ripe with creative change, and it can be exciting, surprising, perhaps even a bit unsettling at times. The Moon squares Saturn in the early evening, which can see a need for resilience, patience, boundaries, discernment, or restraint, perhaps in communications.

TUES MAR 22

This morning begins with the Moon in late Scorpio trine Neptune, sextile Pluto, and building a trine to the Sun. Changes that have been occurring are quietly assimilating, and it’s possible that certain things are coming to light or being illuminated that can give us something to feel optimistic or hopeful about. The Moon enters adventurous Sagittarius at noon PST, to trine the Sun and Chiron in Aries, boosting energy and enthusiasm. Things can feel like they are opening up more, and positive thinking can boost morale. Perhaps there is something to look forward to on the horizon. This lunation see’s a playful expansiveness that is open to change. With Venus and Mars both square Uranus and conjunct Saturn, there’s a desire to shake things up while still maintaining the structure and integrity of what supports you. An energy of positive reform and revitalization permeates these configurations.

WED MAR 23

Today see’s the Moon sextile Venus, Saturn, and Mars, while square Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune, and trine Chiron. This can see some inspiring changes taking place, and beneficial alliances can be forged. With Mercury exactly conjunct Neptune at 23 degrees, there can be beautiful synchronicities, creative inspiration, dreaminess, fantasy, even psychic experiences, however, do take care to avoid self deception or seeing only what you want to see. There can be a lot of unique insights gained under these configurations, and the Moon sextile Venus and Saturn can be a stabilizing influence in certain interactions, while it’s square to Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune can be a potentially confusing influence in others. More information will need to come to light, but this energy is a good time for exploring and gaining new insights. Shifts occurring now can be a cause of subtle tensions over the coming days as there is much to adapt to, but things are certainly interesting. There is a strong emphasis on renewal.

THURS MAR 24

Today begins with the Moon in late Sagittarius squaring Mercury and Neptune, and this can see a heightened sensitivity, and perhaps a bit of confusion or indecisiveness in the air. There may be something we are at odds with, or perhaps it’s difficult to reconcile conflicting needs, desires, schedules, or life areas.Perhaps there’s certain things people simply need to keep to themselves while they sort them out. The Moon enters stoic Capricorn at 2:54 PM PST, squaring the Sun in Aries. There may be an inner conflict of some kind that calls for people to find their own way, trust in their own feelings, and not appeal to outside influences or what other people will think or say. A lunar semi square to Venus suggests this may have to do with relationships, personal values, or perhaps social situations or finances. Regardless of what it is for you personally, a lunar trine to Uranus later on suggests pioneering and innovating your own way through things, perhaps taking the road less travelled. In the very least, it calls for authenticity and being true to your own feelings, even if that means going against the grain.

FRI MAR 25

Today see’s the Moon in earthy and disciplined Capricorn trine Uranus, sextile the asteroid Hygeia, while squaring Chiron. This can see a bit of vulnerability, perhaps in regards to doing what we feel we need to do to honor our own needs, feelings, instincts, and authenticity. The lunar trine to Uranus is a liberating if somewhat rebellious aspect. It’s square to Chiron can see people feeling a bit out on a limb, perhaps there’s a need to improvise or take a particular stance or path out of apparent necessity. Later, the Moon sextile’s Jupiter and conjuncts Pluto, and this can see more faith, optimism and self belief. There can also be a lot of pressure under these configurations, but for mostly positive reasons.

SAT MAR 26

Today see’s the Moon in Capricorn sextile Mercury in Pisces and conjunct Pluto. This can see the day focused on communications or short distance travels, and there can be some impactful meetings, get togethers, agreements, or negotiations. The Sun in Aries conjoins Mercury, emphasizing action, but also renewal and fresh starts, while the Moon’s sextile to Mercury in Pisces suggests a controlled release, catharsis, perhaps even taking someone into your confidence, or having someone take you into theirs. This could see new insights coming to light. The Moon in Capricorn conjunct Pluto is restrained, measured and careful about what it chooses to reveal, why, and to whom. It enters eccentric Aquarius at 5:55 PM PST, and this lunation can certainly see things get more interesting.

SUN MAR 27

Today see’s Mercury enter Aries in the wee hours, auguring a phase of much more direct, straightforward, perhaps even blunt or impulsive communications, and quite a lot of action, coming and going, and zooming around. This quickens the pace and can see discussions or dialogue initiated that has been simmering under the surface for a while. The Moon in Aquarius is conjunct Venus, Mars, and Saturn, while squaring Uranus and sextile Chiron today. These configurations can see a pleasant, if rather erratic time, and there’s a bit of a rebellious or headstrong energy that can see people letting their pubes just hang out in the breeze or doing something a bit different, but perhaps this was (at least partly) a planned development, with Saturn in the mix. Planned or not, there’s still an element of spontaneity and unconventionality about it, and it can see some enjoyable social or interpersonal experiences that can cement some beneficial, if rather unconventional or highly unusual alliances. With both the Moon and Mars squaring Uranus, there can be a lot happening at once, and the nervous system can be rather revved up. Certain changes can be a source of tension, subtle controversy, or may all just be a bit energetically taxing to cram in or adapt to. People can be unpredictable, but they do have a particular goal in mind, although it's all a bit experimental and there's really no user manual for the situations people may be confronting here. There’s a high mindedness here, and this can see various types of nerds coming together to form strange, freak, nerd alliances or highly unusual understandings or agreements that are unconventional as hell, but such connections are perhaps rather good and even therapeutic and mutually beneficial for one another.

ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF MAR 14-20 2022

MON MAR 14

We kick off this week with the Moon in Leo, opposite both Venus and Mars, square Uranus, and trine Chiron. This highlights both Venus and Mars recently squaring up to Uranus, suggesting there may be restlessness or subtle tensions or ongoing change to navigate, socially, interpersonally or financially. There’s an emphasis here on breaking free from stifling influences and shaking off anything that’s been keeping us stuck in a rut. With Venus and Mars both square Uranus, there could be a need for more freedom and room to experiment in relationships and social situations, and a desire to see progress, change, or excitement. These configurations can highlight the differences between ourselves and others, and is rather contradictory considering Mars and Venus being so close together. There can be an unspoken solidarity in some regards, where certain folks are strangely united by their own otherwise alienating quirks or eccentricities. The Moon goes on to oppose Saturn as well, which can feel a bit inhibiting when it comes to expressing how we feel. Socially, interpersonally, financially and creatively, the atmosphere can feel a bit unpredictable, and the Moon opposite Saturn in the mix can feel a bit alienating and have some of us feeling “too weird to live and too rare to die” as Hunter S. Thompson put it. Moon opposition Saturn can feel a bit lonely or isolating, even if you’re in a room full of people.  We build up to a Full Moon in Virgo that occurs on Friday, so it’s a good week for purification and efforts towards making improvements in our lives anywhere we know we’ve been slipping and would like to see progress. A week that personifies the Serenity Prayer.

TUES MAR 15.

Today further emphasizes the Moon/Saturn opposition, which can make us feel a bit cut off from others or make it difficult to express ourselves or how we feel. There’s a need to get on with things in stoic Saturn fashion, but the Moon opposite Saturn can see some challenges or blockages, whether externally or internally generated, that could have us feeling self contained or like “a man in a box.” Mercury sextile to Uranus while conjunct Jupiter can see us picking up all sorts of nuance and subtlety from the atmosphere, and we might even desire to express something. The inner emotional and psychic landscape may be rich, but for one reason or another, there could be inhibition or blockages, particularly around expressing the feelings, or expressing ourselves, period. Nevertheless, with Mercury sextile Uranus and conjunct Jupiter, there is a lot of insight available, and the inner landscape can be rich, with much to mull over and sift through. The Moon enters Virgo at 9:59 PM PST, emphasizing healing, purification, and self improvement-but also acceptance over that which we cannot change.

WED MAR 16

Today see’s the Moon in Virgo trine Uranus while opposite Mercury and Jupiter, and there may be a lot of high ideals and aspirations. The lunar trine to Uranus is forward looking and future oriented, and attempts to bring organization and form to chaos and formlessness. With the Moon opposite Mercury and Jupiter in sensitive Pisces, there can be a feeling of a void, or an emphasis on release of that which we have no control over, acceptance of things we can't do anything about. There can also be a desire to bring healing and reform, both psychologically, spiritually, and physically, to improve our approach to certain matters. The Moon is also sextile the healing asteroid Hygeia, which further emphasizes this trend of healing, self improvement, release and acceptance. The Moon’s opposition to Mercury and Jupiter can be deeply philosophical and spiritual, as well as highly sensitive. With so many planets in contact to Uranus, there is a strong emphasis on reform, change, and a desire for progress, authenticity, freedom, evolution, and liberation. There can be internal struggles with self doubt, and certain attachments to comfort zones which have outworn their benefit, but the Full Moon on Friday can help in establishing new neural pathways, assisting with motivation and drive to make any necessary transformations.

THURS MAR 17

The Moon in Virgo is opposite the Sun, Jupiter, and Neptune in Pisces, and this can see a bit of wistfulness, and in some cases, anxiousness over unknowns. A quincunx to Saturn can also make us cautious about trying new things, and is pretty risk averse, but it’s also a quiet call back to reality and realism. There's a need here to accept and release. Striking a better balance between duty and relaxation can also be a theme under these configurations for many. It might be wise today not to overcommit or overpromise. In either case, the days configurations call for a need to find a balance as the Moon is on it’s way to peak fullness. These are interesting configurations, with a strong emphasis on health, healing, and reform, that come up against strong unconscious or collective pulls towards escapism, depressive cycles of Samsara, disintegration, and downward spirals. It’s interesting to see, with the Moon in purifying Virgo opposite all the Pisces planets, while Venus and Mars in progressive, cerebral Aquarius square up to Uranus, and sextile the wounded healer Chiron, -all on a holiday that tends to culturally glorify and celebrate unrestrained alcohol benders. It’s humorous and poignant really, the way these maths seem to throw the tradition of poisoning oneself into question. Libations aside, some may encounter internal battles between a desire to reform self sabotaging patterns v.s sticking with a particular comfort zone, wheel of samsara, or some other self defeating pattern that they’ve settled into, -even though it only produces misery. Others may encounter external pressure (peer pressure and the like). To those of you actually embarking on any sort of healing or recovery journey, (which can encompass literally anything) I wish you fortitude and strength in releasing any self sabotage and physical and spiritual clutter from your life.

FRI MAR 18

The Full Moon in Virgo peaks at 12:18 AM PST, trine Pluto in Capricorn, opposite the Sun and Neptune in Pisces and making minor tense aspects to both Venus and Uranus. This has change, transformation, and reform written all over it. For some, there may be an internal battle of wills going on. The lunar trine to Pluto is powerful and up to a challenge. Regardless of what your personal story is, this Full Moon highlights a need to get something back into balance and on an improved, and more efficient trajectory.  It’s possible that relationships or other people function wittingly or unwittingly as catalysts of change, but this Full Moon emphasizes healing, cleansing, self improvement, purification, organization, and transformation. The Moon slips into partnership oriented Libra at 4:26 AM PST, to trine both Venus and Mars, while opposing Chiron. There’s an element of vulnerability here, but there’s also a lot of drive, passion, and motivation. There can be new cylinders firing, and we can feel simultaneously inspired and intimidated.

SAT MAR 19

Today see’s the Moon in harmony seeking Libra trine Venus, Mars and Saturn, (along with the asteroid Juno), while opposite Chiron. This can see a desire to get on the same page with others somehow, and for some this can involve building a solid bridge between ourselves and others, or making serious commitments socially, financially, creatively, or interpersonally. This can involve a goal that’s important to us. All these air placements along with the involvement of Saturn can see a sort of cool detachment or cerebral approach to relationships, but there’s a passion and sincerity and humanitarianism here that can really bring out people’s desire to do ourselves and others justice. Huge emphasis here on personal growth, humanitarianism and reform, and a desire to build firm foundations. A lunar quincunx to Neptune can see a tendency to be a martyr, so take care that you’re acknowledging your own real needs and true feelings, as being overly people pleasing in order to be perceived in a particular way by certain others can have a way of coming back to bite people who have been overly self sacrificing. So just make sure you’re honoring your authentic self and doing what you really want.

SUN MAR 20

Today see’s the Sun’s annual ingress into Aries at 8:33 AM PST, followed by the Moon entering intense Scorpio at 8:45 AM PST. Happy birthday Aries! Today is also International Astrology Day. This is a relatively passionate and spicy mathscape, with the Moon squaring intense Pluto early on, while making some tense minor aspects to Mercury and Jupiter, and then going on to square Mars while opposing Uranus. Probably a good idea to have a physical or creative outlet at some point today. There can be intense feelings under the surface. There could be some restlessness, perhaps a bit of a pent up energy building up here that can see people wrestling with conflicting feelings. An emotionally changeable day. It’s possible we aren’t completely on the same page as certain others in particular regards or maybe there are certain things being stuffed down or repressed. Tomorrow can see a lot of compassion, sensitivity, and quiet understanding in the face of differences, blockages, challenges or frustrations.

ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF MAR 7-13 2022

MON MAR 7

After a powerful week full of intense conjunctions, we begin this week with the Moon in earthy Taurus, conjunct Uranus, square Saturn and Mercury in Aquarius, and sextile the Sun and Jupiter in Pisces. This, along with Venus and Mars now in Aquarius, can see some shifts in feelings, perspectives, and priorities. The Moon squaring Saturn and Mercury may see some blockages and challenges at the heart of this need for change. There can be a lot of empathy and understanding in the atmosphere with the Moon making contacts to the Sun and Jupiter in Pisces. There can be emotional generosity and sympathy, even amidst communication blockages or barriers. The Moon goes on to sextile Neptune later on suggesting a reflective atmosphere, blockages in communications can leave a lot to the imagination and create space to dream. This energy suggests releasing that which we have no control over.  The Moon goes on to trine Pluto in the evening, and this can see the imagination heavily preoccupied with filling in the gaps, or coming up with new ideas or outlets socially or otherwise. The lunar square to Mercury can see a certain restless, peculiar undercurrent to the day which is like a plug seeking a socket while the person holding it is blindfolded. Tomorrow can see some pleasant exchanges socially, interpersonally or creatively that can be quite unexpected.

TUES MAR 8

This morning see’s the Moon enter curious and multitasking Gemini at 10:40 AM PST, to trine Venus and Mars in Aquarius while still holding a trine to Pluto. It’s possible certain connections or endeavors either socially, interpersonally, or in business have been somewhat unreliable or haven’t necessarily come through as we hoped, or there is a need to see some kind of progress that can't happen under the same old structures, patterns, or dynamics. These maths suggest diversification, liberation, and innovation. Mercury will enter Pisces tomorrow, changing the game even more, and placing more emphasis on release, reflection, and letting go. Tis the season. The lunar trines to Venus, Mars and Pluto today can see some intense feelings under the surface, and the lunar square to Mercury in the last degrees of Aquarius can see restlessness or impulsiveness mentally, interpersonally or socially, or in regards to communications or negotiations reaching a peak under this square, but things will calm down quite a bit soon enough. Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater as the saying goes, but equally, it’s also important to honor the feelings if you’re feeling unfulfilled, blocked, or dissatisfied. The dualistic nature of the Gemini lunation combined with Venus and Mars in erratic Aquarius can see us seeking new outlets, new social connections, or new frontiers that can help allay feelings of disappointment or stagnation in certain connections or endeavors. Let some fresh air and fresh inspiration in.

WED MAR 9

Today see’s the Moon in Gemini square the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces while trine Saturn and sextile Chiron. Someone or something can be our rock amidst some rather confusing energy. We may just be our own rock. The lunar squares to the Sun/Jupiter/Neptune in Pisces can see the imagination running all over the place, and this can see a highly sensitive atmosphere. There’s definitely a need for inner resilience here, as many things can feel unclear. There is also a lunar trine to Juno which suggests supportive relationships are present that can assist in navigating confusing energies. With the squares to the Pisces planets this can see people vacillating between hope and despair, but the lunar trine to Saturn suggests that realism is the key to not getting thrown off course or set about chasing after rainbows. Speaking of which, Mercury, the planet of the mind and communication enters Pisces today at 5:32 PM PST. Embracing more imagination, whimsy and creativity, and cultivating the intuitive, reflective and spiritual capacities are key aspects of this Mercury transit. Not everything has to make sense (or cents) all the time. There may also be certain dreams, fantasies or illusions that we may be releasing and letting go of under these transits, and there can be a space, void, or hole that is left over to fill with new dreams and visions, and things that help keep a sense of hope and faith alive. For some, these configurations can be accompanied by a slight sense of disillusionment, disappointment, sadness, demoralization, or a feeling that you are all alone. Hang in there and know that you matter, you are loved, you are very significant. If you need a sign to stick around here on the earth plane and to keep going, and not give in to despair, escapism or self destructive tendencies, this is it. Don’t give any potential haters (or your own internal critic) the satisfaction of a downward spiral or giving up on all of your dreams.

THURS MAR 10

Today see’s the Moon in Gemini square the Sun and Neptune, while trine Mercury and Saturn. These maths are somewhat odd, as there is a particular somberness here that brings a sense of realism or the notion that balance is required between whimsy, fantasy, -and the reality of a particular situation, which in some ways, is less than ideal, or in the very least, bittersweet. We shouldn’t deprive ourselves completely of things that make life worth living, but equally, we shouldn’t live in a fantasy land where we tell ourselves there’s no consequences/results (karma) to our actions or the goals we have require zero applied effort, energetic alignment, or discipline. It’s ok to treat ourselves to some rest, an indulgence, or even a bit of fantasy or wishful thinking. We can color outside the lines a bit to become comfortable with shifting dynamics or circumstances as long as it doesn’t lead to self sabotage. Today is about finding a balance between fact and fantasy, and perhaps finding a comfort zone between the two. Speaking of comfort, the Moon enters sensitive and comfort seeking Cancer at 11:24 PM PST, and this can see heightened emotional sensitivity over the coming days.

FRI MAR 11

Today see’s the Moon in Cancer trine Mercury in Pisces while square Chiron in Aries, and this can see the emotional floodgates open in communications, that is, if we have the courage to be vulnerable. The lunar square to Chiron can definitely see feelings of vulnerability, sensitivity, or a wound activated in some way, but with Mercury in Pisces there is compassion and sensitivity. Today can see some healing conversations, perhaps a good day to process certain emotions or discuss things that have been swept under the rug. The Moon goes on to trine Jupiter and sextile Uranus as well, so there can be a lot of changes going on, and there can be just the right amount of empathy, emotional generosity, and with Uranus involved harmoniously, insight and objectivity. There can also be some intuitive downloads or esp experiences. We can find new ways to deal with old wounds, and can also be receiving insight and awareness into things that eluded us before. This can also see some surprising communications, but with the square to Chiron from the Moon, we can be feeling a bit tender around the edges for some reason. There can be some big changes going on and it can all be a lot to take in. Go easy on yourself and allow yourself time to digest things properly. Today there is a focus on catharsis, release, and emotional healing.

SAT MAR 12

Today see’s the Moon in comfort oriented Cancer trine the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune, and this emphasizes emotional release. For some reason there can be something bittersweet about this. There can be longing and a feeling that something is beyond our grasp or just out of reach, but equally, there can be optimism and faith and a great potential to see the beauty in the universe. A lunar opposition to Pluto later on can see some undercurrents of intensity as major transformations are going on that can bring about feelings of vulnerability. Emotions can be deeply felt, but there can also be a focus on power dynamics as well. Major changes can be going on internally and/or externally, and with Pluto involved there can be a feeling of “no turning back”. This can be slightly intimidating in certain regards, and interpersonal involvements and/or social dynamics can see their fair share of shifts under these configurations.

SUN MAR 13

Today see’s the Moon enter Leo, ushering in some dynamic changes and a phase of experimentation and “fuck around and find out” in regards to interpersonal, social, creative and/or financial dynamics and endeavors. With the Pisces emphasis there is simultaneously a lot being released here. This perhaps isn’t all easy peasy, and might even see some complex undercurrents. With the Moon opposing Mars, Venus and Pluto, interpersonal, social, or business power dynamics are highlighted, and it’s possible that certain sacrifices are being made in order to seal certain deals. The Leo lunation can see passion and enthusiasm, and even creativity. Venus also squares up to Uranus, heralding a cycle of interpersonal, social, creative, or financial experimentation. Under this aspect, it might be challenging to tow the line in certain arrangements, and people can be prone to feeling restless, stifled and hemmed in if they feel their independence, individuality and authenticity is being overly hampered or choked to death by the compromises required to maintain harmony in certain arrangements, partnerships, or agreements. People can also be unpredictable and require more freedom to experiment and get in touch with their true will. The Moon goes on to trine Chiron this evening, suggesting something can subtly boost morale or increase confidence.
