Today see’s the Moon in Libra squaring Mercury and Venus in Capricorn, and trine Saturn, while later going on to square Pluto as well. There can be a sense of purposefulness to the day, and a lot to think about. There’s a need to create focus, have a plan, and prepare, perhaps amidst a lot of distractions. People, connections, partnerships, both business and personal, can factor in heavily as the week begins, and there may be some important meetings or perhaps reunions to prepare for, or a lot of shifting dynamics to accommodate. For many, this can be business, career, or goal related, with Venus and Mercury in the serious sign of Capricorn. Shifts in status and power dynamics can be involved. With Capricorn emphasized at the moment, there’s a need to get serious around goals, get down to the nitty gritty of things, prioritize, and get into the drivers seat to command a situation. This can require some diplomacy and working together with others to shift a situation into a new gear and get something more solid and established. There can be some important meetings or agreements in the works for some, and with Jupiter preparing to shift signs tomorrow evening, a whole new era is about to begin. There can be a lot of pressure, but also a lot of optimism as well. Big shifts are happening.

This morning begins with the Moon in late Libra squaring Venus, Mercury, and Pluto in Capricorn, while trine Jupiter in 29 degrees Aquarius. This can see some significant meetings, agreements, news, or conversations transpire that take things into new terrain. Something can occur that portends some big changes or makes some kind of impact. This can see a lot of ideas bounced back and forth, and for some, agreements or negotiations can be set into place that can be game changing. The Moon shifts into power broker Scorpio at 1:16 PM PST, to oppose Uranus, while still trine Jupiter. Something is certainly shifting, and there can be some surprises in the works. There can be a lot going on behind the scenes, and it’s possible some things are revealed that we were unaware of. Venus retrograde in Capricorn also perfects it’s conjunction with Mercury today as well, and with both being close to Pluto, this can see some intensity, and some sort of game changing news in regards to partnerships, finances, investments, love, creative projects, property or possessions. This being a Venus retrograde, this can involve people from our past, or things that we started/seeds that we planted a while ago. Jupiter enters Pisces at 8:09 PM, kicking off a whole new era in ernest, shifting the focal point of abundance and growth in your personal natal chart. You may have already felt this coming, and have been gearing yourself in this direction for some time. Now it’s really beginning to cement, and you can begin to settle into a process more fully and completely. This can feel exciting, but it also means cutting out and releasing anything that could get in the way, and it can be a challenge to disentangle from certain situations or dynamics.

The early hours of the morning see’s the Moon in Scorpio sextile the Sun in Capricorn, while square Saturn, opposite Uranus, and trine Neptune. There is a commitment to major transformation in these configurations, and there can be much going on under the surface and behind the scenes. With the Moon both opposite Uranus and square Saturn, this emphasizes the Saturn/Uranus square, which challenges us to strike a balance between maintaining the structural integrity of our lives and plans, while preserving our freedom and independence. This can see two life areas highlighted that are somehow pitted against each other, and it can be a challenge to integrate the two until a certain sweet spot of stability is struck. The lunar trine to Neptune can see a need to yield in one area or another. With Jupiter now back in the area it visited back in May, something we’ve been aiming towards expanding and growing will now begin having greater focus. A new balance and sense of priorities will need to be struck as these shifts are adopted. Today can see a creative excitement and intensity, and a need for discipline, focus, and resilience. Evening can see a more reflective and dreamy mathscape, and on into tomorrow can see news, communications, and interactions that can be pleasant, beneficial, and can boost optimism.

This morning, the Moon in Scorpio is sextile Mercury, Venus, and Pluto, trine Neptune, and square Jupiter. Things can be trending in a positive and empowering direction. News received can stimulate high ideals, as well as the imagination and creativity. Communications can flow well. The square to Jupiter and trine to Neptune can be a bit sleepy and indulgent, but there can be an intense focus on something, and a lot of creativity. The Moon enters adventurous and optimistic Sagittarius at 3:08 PM PST, and energy and drive can slowly pick up as it conjoins Mars and trines Chiron. We can feel pleasantly motivated by something or someone right now. Venus/Mercury/Neptune conjunct has a tunnel vision that can be quietly powerful, driven and relentless.

Today see’s the Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Mars, trine Chiron, and sextile Saturn. This is an optimistic, impulsive, but driven energy. Minor aspects of the Moon to Uranus and Mercury can see an excitable, impulsive nature, and nervous energy, doubly emphasized, so focusing the strong lunar/Mars current in a directed way will see the best use of this squirrelly, and excitable, happy pony energy. Travel, study, learning, teaching, broadcasting, publishing, or people and places at a distance or from other cultures or other walks of life can figure into things for some people under these expansive, enthusiastic, but focused configurations. It is New Years Eve, and there can be a restless excitement, and a fun, wide eyed, curious, and gregarious atmosphere. The Moon goes on to square Neptune later on, and there can be some confusion, sleepiness, moodiness, sloppiness, or heightened feelings that could be funneled into a creative or spiritual outlet, or New Years celebrations. If you’re imbibing alcohol this New Years Eve, don’t drink and drive, -or do or say anything you’ll regret into the New Year. This is a good time to remind everyone that Venus is retrograde.

SAT JAN 1 2022.

Happy New Year! Today see’s the Moon in late Sagittarius building a sextile to Jupiter in Pisces, seeing a celebratory and expansive atmosphere. Tense minor lunar aspects to Saturn and Uranus can see a lot to adapt to, perhaps a lot going on, and there can be challenges navigating a shifting atmosphere. The Moon enters Capricorn at 3:02 PM PST to conjunct the Sun, and the sextile to Jupiter see’s a positive and expansive atmosphere, while a lunar trine to Uranus is liberating and exciting, but a square to Chiron suggests some vulnerability around this. A New Moon occurs tomorrow, and the shifts happening now can be simultaneously freeing and empowering, but there is something about them that also touches on a wound or a weakness. Mercury shifts into Aquarius at 11:10 PM PST, further accentuating the sea change we are undergoing. It can be both exciting and scary.

Today see’s the New Moon in Capricorn at 10:33 AM PST. This New Moon conjoins the Sun and Juno, trine’s Uranus, and squares Chiron. The fact that this coincides with Mercury moving into Aquarius just yesterday, and Jupiter moving into Pisces on Tues, highlights some radical shifts taking place, with a trend towards freedom, independence, experimentation, liberation, innovation, illumination, authenticity, and rebellion. Doing things differently from now on. Being true to ourselves, our goals, and what we feel called to do can come with it’s fair share of vulnerability. Conversely, it can even make others feel vulnerable. Regardless of what’s going on right now for you personally at this new moon, a new, experimental, and liberating era is kicking off that can see us encountering situations or reaching levels that are all completely new to us. It can feel exciting, and there can be unexpected elements or things can come up that surprise us. Interpersonally, financially, or creatively, new seeds are being planted that can take us in experimental directions that maybe feel a bit intimidating at first. The Moon goes on to conjunct Venus, Pluto, and sextile Neptune as well later on, and this can see creative inspiration, and perhaps some quiet interpersonal intensity. There can be a lot to reflect on as the New Year kicks off.

Sunday, December 19, 2021

Today see’s the Moon in cozy Cancer opposite Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn and trine Neptune. We may feel the pressure of duties or responsibilities now, and it can feel tempting to just escape from them and seek comfort and self soothing. But it’s possible that there’s certain things that just can’t be overlooked anymore. With so much emphasis on Capricorn, there’s a focus on reality, accountability, stability, sensibility, goals, ambitions, and structure. The Moon goes on to oppose Venus which just stationed retrograde in Capricorn on Sunday. With Venus and Pluto still very close together, there may be some intense transformations going on that can be rater preoccupying. A reevaluation of all things Venus ruled will be occurring through to March 2022. A Venus retrograde isn’t typically the best time to begin brand new relationships, partnerships or initiatives, it’s better for restructuring, reflecting and reevaluating, or perhaps revisiting something (or someone) that was previously shelved. Some relationships will come to an end or be sorely tested during this retrograde. Venus/Pluto can see power struggles, compelling pulls, or simply make love or interpersonal matters feel intimidating in some way. Everyone wants to be taken seriously. Already established relationships that are built on healthy foundations will emerge from this period strengthened, those that are not can see the door be firmly closed shut, as Venus/Pluto makes indifference virtually impossible, but in the cool sign of Capricorn, people can be playing their cards very close to their chest. These configurations highlight the need to be extra discerning, and to take your time! Don’t be surprised if you hear from people from long ago during this retrograde, such as ex’s or old friends, old crushes, even just people you thought you’d never hear from again. These configurations can see plans being hatched that could take a lot of time, diligence, and patience to bare fruit, but this retrograde period can present everyone with an opportunity to make some course corrections or reflect upon the choices before them. The connection between the Sun and Jupiter right now can see optimism, and there can be some opportunities available for expansive initiatives and signs of positive growth or promising returns.

Today begins with the Moon in late Cancer building a trine to Mars in adventurous Sagittarius while still opposite Mercury and Pluto in Capricorn. This math speaks of being pushed pleasantly out of our comfort zone and into pioneering new terrain in some fashion. The Sun makes it’s annual ingress into Capricorn at 7:59 AM PST, to begin the Winter Solstice. Happy Birthday Capricorns! The Moon enters fun seeking, enthusiastic Leo at 1:54 PM PST, bringing people more out of their shells. The Moon trines Chiron and Mars, while opposing Saturn and going on to square Uranus. We may sense that there may be some challenges, blockages, or hard work ahead, or feel challenged by entering into untried or unusual new terrain, but the lunar trine to both Chiron (which is now direct in Aries after a long slumber) and Mars in adventurous Sagittarius can instill confidence and boost morale. There can be excitement about certain changes unfolding now. Saturn will perfect another square with Uranus on Thursday, and this can see a sort of adaptation process that has been underway for some time, perhaps where we try to cope with the need for structure and stability on the one hand, with our need for freedom, experimentation, and excitement on the other. In either case, we are doing things much differently than perhaps ever before. Venus retrograde on Pluto calls for a careful evaluation of anything that could be binding, for better or worse, and people want to know where they stand with others, whether in business, socially, or interpersonally. Mars in positive connection to Chiron can help overcome any weaknesses felt around asserting ourselves, which can help provide the courage needed to push things into new territory or to reach points of clarity.

Today see’s more action and courage, with the Moon in the brave lion trine Mars and Chiron, while squaring Uranus and opposite Saturn. This can see us driven to confront barriers to progress, whether self imposed or externally generated. There is a courage and assertiveness here that can push things to new levels, but there can also be considerable vulnerability, nervousness, pressure, and anxiety. In some cases, this can see some folks deliberately escalating a situation to “get the other shoe to drop” or to address anxiety or uncertainty around situations or dynamics that have felt “stuck", stagnant, or entropic. With the Saturn/Uranus square perfecting tomorrow, there can be a “something’s got to give” feeling around a particular scenario or dynamic, that perhaps can be felt very strongly. There can be some unexpected surprises unfolding, and people can be unpredictable. There can be excitement in this mathscape, but for some, it can all be a bit too much or over the top, with Mars in “go big or go home” Sagittarius. Nonetheless, it certainly isn’t a boring time. With Mercury trine Uranus, we can receive news or communications, or even packages out of the blue that maybe we’ve been waiting on for some time. There can be a bit of a party atmosphere unfolding here, even with the Moon opposite Saturn. The Moon in Leo wants to play and seek enjoyment and good times, and could shake things up to make something fun happen.

Today see’s the perfection of the Saturn/Uranus square, which can see a need to compromise between responsibility and our desire to be a free agent come to a head in some way. This configuration also highlights a need to overcome any feelings of inadequacy around our own unique gifts and abilities, or ways that make us stand out from others as a “weirdo” or an “outlier.” The Moon in late Leo opposes Jupiter, bringing to light the need to fly our own freak flag, and this can see an indulgent atmosphere focused on fun, creative expression, enjoyment, and playful competition. The perfection of this Saturn/Uranus square can fray the nerves due to the competing life sectors that may be clamoring for attention, and it can be a bit destabilizing. Saturn and Uranus won’t square off like this again for years, so take solace in the fact that after tonight, you won’t have to worry about this configuration again. The lunar opposition to Jupiter can be fun, exciting, and indulgent, but there can be a lot going on all at once, so prioritize accordingly, and don’t over book yourself or take on more than you can feasibly handle.

Today see’s the Moon in practical and detail oriented Virgo, trine Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Pluto, while opposite Neptune. Boy howdy. The Venus/Pluto conjunction also perfects once again, in 25 degrees, and this could see some pleasant intensity or positive breakthroughs that perhaps comes as a surprise. The difference this time around is that Mercury is also conjunct Pluto, so this can see some news or breakthroughs in communications involved. Something we see, hear, say, read, or conversations we have, people we meet, or collaborations, goals, or projects we're involved with can have quite an impact or see significant turning points now. Mercury sextile Neptune can help dissolve boundaries and barriers and make it easier to approach people, situations, or topics or enter new territory that maybe we found a bit intimidating before. This is a very earthy sky, and there can be some really pleasant exchanges, advancements, physical meetups, unexpected gifts or visitations. Conversely, it can also just be really busy, with a lot going on practically, so if you need to step away from the action for some moments of reflection or just to catch your breath, do so. This can be an exciting and experimental time, with things heading into new terrain. There might definitely be some unexpected, but pleasant surprises, or "upleveling" in some way. Love relationships, social get togethers, or positive news financially or in regards to creative projects or long term investments is highlighted. We may be drawn to unusual, artsy or spiritual types, or there can be something unusual or even serendipitous, powerful, and exciting about whatever is unfolding now. It's a lot to take in.

Today see’s the Moon enter partnership oriented Libra, placing the focus on harmonizing with others. The Moon here squares the Sun in Capricorn and opposes Chiron. There may be some sensitivity or vulnerability to navigate in regards to balancing our needs with those of others. We can be aware of anyone that perhaps isn’t very happy or is struggling right now, and it’s possible that there’s some misunderstandings, poor timing, or overlapping commitments to navigate. Later, the Moon sextile’s Mars and trines Saturn in Aquarius, and this can see initiatives towards stability, perhaps a desire to spread good will and cheer to those in need. Put your energy where it’s appreciated, and don't overextend yourself. This math can see some positive collaborations between others, and there is motivation available to get some good foundations established. With the emphasis on Capricorn, being discerning about where we put our time and energy continues to be important. Don’t water dead plants, or force tenuous plans that would be stressful to accommodate. Tomorrow see’s an emphasis on planning and communications.

Today see’s the Moon in diplomatic Libra square Mercury,Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn, and trine Saturn in the early part of the day. This could see some serious discussions, or some “let’s make a deal” kind of talks going down, that could involve future goals or the setting up of new foundations with others. It’s possible that we could be underestimating the impact of whatever plans we could be setting into motion now, they could wind up being more of a big deal than we realize. Later on see’s the Moon trine Jupiter, and this could see optimism boosted, perhaps  good news is on it’s way. Something or someone could make a huge difference in our lives that sets the stage for some game changing transformations and shifts. This could involve a collaboration, partnership, or working together with others somehow. Did we underestimate something before? Did we underestimate someone? Did we underestimate ourselves? Regardless of what’s going on, the emphasis on Capricorn in the heavens right now is all GOALS, GOALS, GOALS. This can see the tail end of the year close out on an ambitious, determined and serious note.

Monday, December 13, 2021

Today see’s the Moon in action oriented Aries, trine the Sun, Mercury and square Venus and Pluto which perfected their conjunction on Saturday. Mars enters adventurous Sagittarius in the wee hours PST, and Mercury enters Capricorn near 10 AM PST. So we see some significant shifts taking hold here.  The Moon goes on to sextile Jupiter, which suggests there’s things to feel optimistic about, even in the face of significant transformations. This being the shadow phase of the Venus retrograde, (which begins officially this upcoming Sunday), can see things in rather unusual territory. With Venus stopping right on top of Pluto at the end of this week, this can see us wanting to look at something or someone more closely, as there may be something promising we may have overlooked, or there is a complexity there that causes a fascination or fixation. Meanwhile, Mars entering Sagittarius portends a cycle of adventurous curiosity where there is more passion to widen our lens on the world, while Mercury in Capricorn snaps us into reality in an earthy and matter of fact way, and our focus on a particular goal will become razor sharp. Today can see some promising news or developments, and there can be some intensity lurking under the surface. Differences between ourselves and others can be a source of both attraction and repulsion, and subtle culture clashes or differences in backgrounds, values, habits, etc can be opportunities for growth, learning and expansion. Venus/Pluto loves and hates like a tattooed fist, so there can be some interesting (to say the least) dynamics in operation now, that contain depth and complexity. Mars in Sagittarius braves this otherwise slightly intimidating terrain with an explorative, open minded and philosophical attitude.

Today see’s the Moon in down to earth Taurus conjunct exciting Uranus, square Saturn, and trine Mercury in realistic and cautious Capricorn. This can see a slow, steady and cautious approach to radical changes or very unusual situations or people. The lunar trine to the asteroid Juno suggests that there are positive things on offer via relationships to others, but there are certain realities or limitations that need to be accepted or taken into account. Today has a practical focus, and the lunar square to Saturn suggests applying any wisdom we have accumulated via our experiences. Something calls for maturity, hard work, or discipline. There can be a lot of distractions. With the Sun sextile Jupiter and square Neptune, our world may be expanding in ways that leave a lot of open ended questions, and a lot of unsolved mysteries. Today’s lunar aspects place emphasis on focusing on that which we can control, amidst the changes and transformations taking place now. For many, the interpersonal/social/ or financial front is undergoing some powerful tectonic shifts. A lot is going on under the surface. Tomorrow can see some compelling draws, or some intense, perhaps highly unusual dynamics or preoccupations in the spotlight. Things that are unfolding can give us much to ponder upon. There can be exciting changes or major shifts that shake things up, -or a desire for that.

Today see’s the Moon in sensual Taurus trine Venus and Pluto in Capricorn, square Jupiter, and sextile Neptune. Obsessive focus on something can be magnified right now, but this can actually feel good. Fantasy and imagination merges with the earthy practicality to manifest powerful changes, slowly but surely. Ideals can be high, and we can derive a sense of pleasure from being responsible or dedicated to something or someone. There can be some very positive shifts occurring or the potential of such is available, materially, financially, interpersonally, socially. Our values, tastes, sensibilities, and what pleases us can be vividly in focus, and there can be much to integrate. Tuning into these things, (as well as to the body) functions as a good compass now.

Today could see some intensity. Perhaps pleasant intensity? Either way, it’s possible diplomacy will be required to navigate certain dynamics or situations. This is a very driven configuration. Noonish PST see’s the Moon reach 29 degrees Taurus,, and this can represent a peak point of productivity, success, a task completed, or an aim accomplished. 12:43 PM PST see’s the Moon swing into Gemini, and this can see something solidified via communications. This could represent something beneficial being negotiated. The Moon/ Mars contact can be utilized positively to get a lot accomplished very quickly, or used on something that requires a great deal of effort and concentration. Potentially also good for trades. Negatively, this energy could be squandered on disputes, outbursts, or arguments. Not needing to win trivial arguments saves you time, energy, and friends, and you don’t need to attend every argument you’re invited to. Arguing with a fool means there are two fools. Moon sextile Chiron can see a compassionate attitude to other peoples pain and weaknesses.

Today cam see a focus on solidifying or concluding some negotiations, meetings, or building bridges of communications. The evening see’s the Moon square Neptune, and this can see some confusion, possible deception, delays, or a lack of clarity. Things can feel open ended and unclear, or there could be mysterious or secretive elements at play and a need to get a better grasp on something or get more information. The Sun sextile Jupiter is generous and optimistic with it’s assessment, and acknowledging the positives can be easier to do. Mercury in Capricorn is naturally cautious, rational, observant, realistic, and methodical in it’s approach, and it’s trine to Uranus can see a lot of original ideas, insights, and a “think outside the box,” experimental mentality. It’s square to Chiron maintains an air of humility, due to things being in uncharted terrain.  Something may be being released now, perhaps an old way of doing things, and a restructuring process is underway.

Today see’s the build up to the Full Moon in Gemini this evening. The Moon is opposite the Sun, trine Jupiter, and square Neptune. This can see some beneficial arrangements. Take care to avoid deceptive (or self deceptive) elements, or deluding yourself, and don’t be swindled, gamed, or manipulated. These maths can see opportunities to help others in need, and there is an emotional generosity, as well as genuine curiosity, with a desire to expand our world through communications. Make sure to look after yourself as well, and try not to overly cater to the desires of others. Compassion is present but so is confusion, and this can see a release of something, a person, a situation, a mindset,- with a focus on building new, more positive foundations. A lot of nervous curiosity is present here. The Moon trine Jupiter can see adventurous plans in the making, and things can be pleasantly expanding, but there can be internal emotional conflicts about things. The Full Moon culminates at 8:36 PM PST at 27 degrees Gemini. This face of Gemini isn’t the easiest lunar position. It represents a sort of “executioners sword”, difficult decisions to make, warring cultures, or internal/external conflicts of interest. It’s a rather emotionally unavailable and removed lunar placement due to the sort of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” nature of whatever difficult decisions manifest in this decan of Gemini, due to the polarizing elements it contains. Light and dark are in contention here, and it is a tragicomedy. Choose wisely, as decisions made under this decan tend to have an element of finality and weight about them. The Full Moon here calls such difficult choices and inner/outer bargaining to our attention, and can be something requiring examination going forward.

The Moon enters comfort seeking Cancer this morning, opposite Mercury, sextile Uranus, and square Chiron. We can be sensitive and feel undecided about the changes unfolding, while also feeling excited, even if new terrain emotionally or commercially has us feeling somewhat vulnerable.Venus stations retrograde at 26 degrees conjunct Pluto at 2:36 AM. Venus in the 3rd face of Capricorn has an affection for heights, mastery, and power, and desires to be enthroned. It also possesses an innate appreciation of the qualities, attributes and virtues necessary to achieve it’s goals of enthronement. A throne of any kind is never offered without great responsibility. Venus backtracking through the third and second decans of Capricorn will provide an opportunity to reevaluate and streamline an approach to our goals and ambitions. This retrograde station occurring right after a Full Moon in Gemini can also bring a meditation upon the necessary sacrifices required to achieve them. Time is valuable. Who and what we spend it on determines our karma, and is the birthplace of either future misery or future success. Venus stationing retrograde being conjunct Pluto places a spotlight on karmic enmeshments, karmic contracts. Energetic entanglements that can be binding in nature, or in the very least, difficult to get out of once entered into. Therefore it’s wise to carefully evaluate who and what you choose to give your power away to. Examine the cost of any idolatry, the value of consigning away your authority, and the integrity of things and people who occupy untouchable pedestals of power and authority within your mind and within your world. Weigh the price of your values and of the powers that you desire for yourself accordingly, because the 3rd decan of Capricorn sheds light on the fact that more often than not, the price of power or the privileges one desires is one's own freedom, autonomy, sovereignty, and vital life forces.

Monday, December 6, 2021

Today see’s the Moon in Capricorn conjunct Venus and Pluto and sextile Neptune, going on to sextile Mars,  This can see an ambitious, goal oriented, and practical day. Passion and creativity can also be high, along with a desire to improve.  Today focuses on making tangible progress and practical gains, via steady, consistent, applied efforts that amount to power moves and progress upwards  We can see some rewards today as well, for some recent accomplishments. The Sun and Mercury square Neptune can suggest some blind spots, there may be some things we don’t yet want to see, things we may be blocking out or glossing over, things we may have been in denial of, but the Venus/Pluto conjunction eventually forces a certain authenticity, and this will perfect on Saturday. People want to know where they stand with each other, and if in business, people want to know what they’re paying for and precisely what they’re getting for whatever is received. With Mercury squaring Neptune, we’ve had to get comfortable with filling in the blanks, with mystery, with grey areas and ambiguity. In situations where things aren’t so clear cut, we may have filled this particular void with fantasy or whatever best case/worst case scenarios that would satisfy the psyche’s need to accept and adapt accordingly. We may have also gone out of our way to avoid looking at or listening to something or someone, preferring to gloss it over and evade factoring it into our reality. Venus/Pluto represents a sort of confrontation with whatever mirages, sprites, and poltergeists we’ve been entertaining (or avoiding.) In some cases, what we believe we’ve been protecting ourselves from seeing or hearing, is what we need to see the most. Habits, or what we’ve always done, can make us blind. There is a certain “denialism” to these aspects, as something can really have a grip on us, and we may not even realize it. In some instances, there are things we are missing or deliberately tuning out and avoiding that when all is said and done, turns out to be the precise medicine we need, or the spot of weakness we need to get to know and love. But this week may see a desire for more time to think about things and gloss certain things over or put them off. People tend to block out whatever doesn’t fit into their idyllic picture under these aspects, but Venus/Pluto wants us to eventually come to appreciate and see the value in these things (or people.)

Today see’s the Moon in Aquarius square Uranus, sextile Chiron and conjunct Saturn. A “thinking outside the box” sort of day. There may be certain things that are still muddled or unclear, and thinking can tend to be confused or up in the clouds with Mercury square Neptune, but we can innovate and experiment within a particular paradigm as long as we don’t take things too far out on a tangent. The Moon sextile Chiron can see some morale boosts from friends, groups, or social networks we are a part of.  There can be some unexpected surprises or sidewinders today, or something can cause us to experiment with new approaches. Nervous excitement, an electrical current that needs to be grounded into practical ends. The Moon conjunct Saturn can see commitment to a cause or responsibilities, work, discipline and duties be a factor in today’s math. Perhaps some sort of restriction or limitation inspires taking a different track. Venus and Mars holding hands see’s a lot to play for, a lot of passion to funnel into our goals, and the Venus/Pluto conjunction lends an obsessive almost tunnel vision determination to execute a transformation. Tomorrow can see ideas abound, and we can really strive to expand out of our usual circles and entertain the idea of moving in spirals instead of in circles.

Today see’s the Moon in Aquarius sextile the Sun and Mercury while conjunct Jupiter. This can see some positive news, a lot of communications, unexpected messages or dialogue, or some “big skies thinking.” With the Sun and Mercury both square Neptune, it’s important to stay realistic and discerning, but these aspects certainly lend a lot of inspiration. Later, a lunar square to Mars see’s a more action oriented energy, and we can be compelled instinctually forward into something. These maths can offer an opportunity to look at our needs in a new way. We can be more adventurous socially, emotionally, or otherwise. Perhaps there is also support from unexpected corners or we interact with people we never anticipated interacting with or who aren’t a usual part of our world. There can be something refreshing or eye opening about these aspects. The Moon/Mars contacts can sort of irritate us into action, maybe via a feeling we can’t shake, an unmet need, or an itch we feel needs to be scratched. Mars squaring Jupiter see’s a strong desire to expand, deepen, and grow, perhaps through social contacts, social networks, and likeminded weirdos.

This morning see’s the Moon enter reflective and whimsical Pisces. This is a reflective day, and a lunar conjunction to the asteroid Pallas suggests today is one of taking a step back and forming a strategy. Mercury sextile Jupiter can see the creative imagination flowing and we can have a lot of ideas, perhaps even a lot of communications to manage. There can be much to reflect upon here. In the evening, the Moon goes on to make a minor aspect to Venus and a sextile to Uranus. This can see some sparks of inspiration occur in solitude or some intuitive hunches or even telepathic, “ESP” sorts of experiences between ourselves and others. We can definitely be getting some new insights or ideas under the Pisces lunation that inspire a different strategy forward.

Today looks imaginative, dreamy, perhaps even a bit delusional and loopy, with the Moon in Pisces square the Sun and Mercury while conjunct Neptune. There’s a bit of rose colored glasses here. This could also be a release, a surrender, a letting go. There can be a sense of uncertainty that challenges the Venus/Pluto conjunctions desire for control and certainty. The Moon goes on to sextile Venus and Pluto, and trine Mars. This can see a sort of confrontation with our own apparitions, or it can represent a kind of turning point, or “divine intervention.” These maths can actually see some rather beautiful experiences, maybe something even touches us deeply. If you have been settling for a particular situation or bandwidth, or wearing blinders of some kind, these aspects can challenge the authenticity and utility of that. In some instances, we may become aware that we’ve been blocking out something that is undeniably beautiful and valuable out of fear of being consumed, or worse, disappointed and deluded. In other instances we may become aware that we’ve been projecting qualities which aren’t actually there on to people, values, or circumstances that don’t actually authentically embody those qualities or offer anything valuable in return for our energetic fixation or devotion. In either case, the Venus/Pluto conjunction reaches exact perfection tomorrow, and this begins some kind of turning point. We may begin to see something or someone more clearly or with fresh eyes, that is,- if we dare to look. Sometimes, it’s easier to ignore and avoid, and to assume we already know what is there, and to project this illusory knowingness on to that which we refuse to engage or confront, because it makes it easier to simply write it off, or to continue on as we have been. The Venus/Pluto conjunction calls for a deep transformation and a confrontation with our own authentic desires, our own power, what is really driving us, and why.

Today begins with the Moon in mystical Pisces still squaring Mercury and sextile Venus and Pluto, while trine Mars and conjunct Neptune. Down the rabbit hole we go. It’s possible that something or someone has piqued our curiosity, and the Venus/Pluto conjunction perfects today at 25 degrees, seeing a sort of unshakeable fixation with a goal or a vexing situation or person. “Rapt” is a good word to describe this math. This can see some pleasant experiences and dynamics, and the focus in the first half of the day can be on beauty, pleasure, and things that make life wonderful. But there is a need to know more, there is an endless curiosity here for all that is mysterious and evades being understood. The Moon enters dynamic Aries at 1:46 PM PST, to conjunct Chiron, and this can see a more assertive and confrontational energy as the Moon trine’s Mars in the final and most urgent degree of do or die Scorpio. We may discover something here or venture into territory that increases our knowledge of a situation or expands our mind or opens our eyes somehow. Mars in 29 degrees Scorpio is “do or die” in it’s quest to unearth whatever is buried, and this face of Mars is particularly dogged and ruthless in pursuit of it’s desires. Purifying your aims is important here, as this decan of Mars in Scorpio can unwittingly be after something that is best left unpursued. Much of what Mars in 29 degrees Scorpio energetically contains is unprocessed, and even potentially toxic. But regardless, it’s passion for satiating it’s desires is unmatched. If you have something to get done this weekend, this energy is sufficient for it.

SUN DEC 12.

Today see’s the Moon in passionate Aries sextile Saturn in Aquarius and conjunct Chiron. We can be hunkering down for the long game here. Mars in 29 degrees Scorpio can make our drives and desires very difficult to ignore, and they are unwavering on top of the Venus/Pluto conjunction. The energy we have at our disposal here under these maths are particularly potent, so it’s good to be very clear about what it is we are trying to manifest. In other words, be careful what you wish for. Monday will bring with it two planetary ingresses, Mars into pioneering Sagittarius, and Mercury into methodical and calculated Capricorn. Sunday is best spent in preparatory frame, solidifying the foundations from which we will eventually launch into new territory. Next week can see some game changing shifts where new horizons are opening up.
